I remember what my husband said a month ago, "when it rain, it pours". That's because when baby Eloise got sick last month and needed a checkup, we were in a financial crisis as all our bills have accrued interests each because it had passed due dates. Out of luck, we also ran out of baby's wipes and diapers with her milk nearly depleted. Problems do really pour. With that kind of situation, what we could do is pray and think ways we could come up to settle each finances. As our prayers came answered, we thought of pawning my mother's
jewelry gift to me as the first step. It's a necklace with white and copper gold in it. That helped us to buy our baby's needs then some went to pay the bills. And then my husband was asked by our former neighbor who had also setup an internet cafe to service 2 of his PCs instead of relying to its warranty. Customers were also coming back to our shop now that they discovered a new game to play - it's the zombie game (Left4Dead) my husband has downloaded and got addicted too. And now we're gaining back our momentum.
When it rain, it really pours... in my husband's perspective it well applied. But for me, what had transpired was more of a "what you sow is what you reap". We did not know we sow good investments until we reap them. Investments such as jewelries - its value never depreciates; trust and good customer relationship - one that established my husband to our neighbor; effort to innovate - the new game that attracted customer's interest. And to top it all, our prayers.
