It's been a season and a half of the NBA that I missed watching since we moved here in Lucena City. Back in our home (my parent's home), I barely miss a game since they have cable TV and sometimes I get to watch the game two or three times because of the replays. But here, I only get to know the result in the internet and just missed all the actions. We have a TV here but our antenna gets two local air channels only, neither of them of course has NBA game.
I am following the NBA religiously so missing a game is really a big deal to me. Also now that NBA is broadcasting in high-definition (they have been broadcasting in HD years ago actually), I really wouldn't want to miss a game. If only we have the resources, I would get a Direct TV since cable here in our place does not support high-def programming. Direct TV system on the other hand doesn't just support high-def in video but audio as well. I can imagine seeing Kobe Bryant doing his flawless fade-away shot in crystal clear angle while hearing every bit of the game's ambience - the commentator's plausible remarks, the loud cheers in Staples Center, even the swoosh of the net afterwards. Now, who wouldn't want a Direct TV service at home? Of course I do, even Houston Rockets is already out of the competition.
